Joshua is a musical director, pianist, accompanist, and educator who works predominantly in musical theatre and choral disciplines, with a particular love for collaborating with singers. He accompanies and directs local community choirs and is a senior tutor with the Australian Girls Choir. Joshua plays keyboard for commercial touring productions (The Lion King, Cats, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Wicked) and musical directs local productions, including Zealous Productions’ Christmas pantomimes (Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Cinderella) and Chicago with Drew Anthony Creative, for which he shared the PAWA award for Outstanding Musical Direction or Conducting. He is a sessional staff member in the musical theatre department at WAAPA (The World Goes ‘Round, Wise Children) and works as a coach and accompanist for WACE and AMEB performance examinations. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance (Piano) from WAAPA.
